Description

ceci-lab is a convenience tool meant to help users develop, test and run their code interactively directly on a compute node.

Contents Information
• Easy to use, no experience with SLURM required
• Ideal starting point for new users to experiment with an HPC cluster
• Web-UI based, minimal interaction with the terminal
• Upload/Download files to/from the cluster intuitively (e.g. contextual menu, drag and drop, etc.)
• Jupyterlab, RStudio, VSCode
• supported interpreters: Python, Julia, R
• command line interface possible through the web-UI
• Produce and download plots and images directly on the cluster
• Learn how to save your work accross sessions
Prerequisite:
• A valid CECI account
• A laptop configured to access the clusters through ssh
• Being familiar with a web browser

Target audience:
• New users with no experience
• More experienced users interested in a fast way to prototype a solution or test an idea
Must: This session is a must for new users, and is strongly recommended for Python and Julia users
